One of my longest relationships in life has been with music, that’s why I love looking at it through my lens. Music is so much more than people playing instruments.

Music can feel like home, when everything else in life feels like quicksand. It can feel cleansing, when my head is stuck. It can feel energizing, when the days feels flat.

Photographing bands not only teaches me something about the artists but it also unveils a part of myself. When I struggle to put something into words, I show it through my pictures. Trying to capture the on-stage magic and riding the emotional waves is my way of giving back to all the musicians pouring their heart out on stage and making this world a better place.
